LOG-2 OUTING

LOG -2: OUTING: P-9. (i) Undertake a 4 hour purposeful outing with her Patrol:
I am Muthulakshmi, (Patrol Leader/Second/Member) of (Jasmine/Lotus/Rose/Sunflower) Patrol. We got permission from our Head Mistress & Court of Honour to go to Vandalur Zoo as outing in Bus. On 22.10.14, at 07.55 am, our Head Mistress wished us for happy journey and safe return, visiting Vandalur Zoo. As our Guide Captain already guided that the purpose of the outing is Observation, so, from the beginning of getting Bus at 08.10 am, we have noted down as per time, whatever we have observed during the Journey onward and return, including in the Zoo, which is given below: 07.30 am -We 7 members only present –with Note Book, Pen, Water Bottle, Bus charge & Zoo Entrance Fee, in Guide Uniform. 07.40 am -One more Guide joined. 07.45 am -Instructions & guidance were given by our Guide Captain. 07.55 am -Wishes by Head Mistress – for happy journey and safe return on visiting Vandalur Zoo. 08.00 am -our Guide Captain commanded for one minute Silent Prayer. 08.10 am -We have boarded in the Second Bus, as First Bus was Full, and our Guide Captain got bus tickets for all the 8 Guides and to herself. -Patrol Leader noted the Meter Reading near Driver as 84693 at 1.Salamangalam Koot Road -Next when Conductor shouted 2.Padappai PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84694 -Next when Conductor shouted 3.Boys High School PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84695 -Next when Conductor shouted 4. MGR Nagar PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84696 -Next when Conductor shouted 5. Karasangal PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84697 -Next when Conductor shouted 6. Mannivakkam PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84698 -Next when Conductor shouted 7. Govt.School PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84699 -Next when Conductor shouted 8.Vandalur PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84700 -Next when Conductor shouted 9.Vandalur Zoo PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 84701 -Then, Guide Captain got down first from the Bus, all other 7 Guides got down and at last PL got down after having noted down the Meter Reading as 84701, saying thanks to the Driver, the time showed 9.15 am. We have purchased entrance Tickets at 9.25 am. for 9 Members and went round the Zoo, seeing Birds, Animals & Reptiles. As our Guide Captain already instructed to observe their sound of calling or may talk to us, when we go near the grilled cabins, we have noted down the following sounds from 9.35 am. to 11.40 am.: Stag : ‘BAOW’

Tiger : ‘GRRAO’

We were waiting for a long time to hear the sounds of 5-animals and a bird : WOLF TIGER LION PANTHER RHINOZEROS STORK
For a surprise our Guide Captain provided “Cone Ice” at 11.45 am. to all of us @Rs.40/- each, for which we thanked her and we’d never forget of her affectionate service. After assembling for One Minute Silent Prayer, we started moving out at 11.50 am.
When all of us got the seats in the Bus, our PL, as usual went near the Driver seat and noted the Speed-0-Meter number as 127828 when bus started from 1.Vandalur Zoo at 12.00 noon. -Next when Conductor shouted 2. Vandalur PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127829 -Next when Conductor shouted 3. Govt.School PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127830 -Next when Conductor shouted 4. Mannivakkam PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127831 -Next when Conductor shouted 5. Karasangal PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127832 -Next when Conductor shouted 6. MGR Nagar PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127833 -Next when Conductor shouted 7. Boys High School PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127834 -Next when Conductor shouted 8. Padappai PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127835 -Next when Conductor shouted 9. Salamangalam Koot Road PL seen the Meter Reading and noted as 127836 -Then, Guide Captain got down first from the Bus, all other 7 Guides got down and at last PL got down after having noted down the Meter Reading as 127836, saying thanks to the Driver, the time showed 01.10 pm. We went inside the School and reported to the Head Mistress and got her blessings. Then we assembled for a minute Silent Prayer and our GC commanded dismiss.
